It's Marge's Time to Shine!
Welcome Wampum Readers! If you're looking for some representative posts, check out what I've written on eVoting, Haiti and WalMart. I'm way behind on Haiti but that's because eVoting and WalMart have taken up all my time lately. I also wrote Something Like a Functioning Democracy, which I like. And I like On Tour with John Roberts, but the corporate media really should get the credit for that one.
Welcome regular readers! Forgive the self-promotion. This blog was nominated for a Koufax in the Deserving of Wider Recognition category. I was stoked until I saw the rest of the names on the list. This is clearly one of those honor-just-to-be-nominated things. No voting yet but when there is, I'll urge you all to go forth and flood the polls. In the meantime, I'll be making appearances at the Naval Academy, NSA headquarters, some Town Hall in Kansas and on the deck of the biggest ship I can find in the Delaware to catapult the propaganda. God bless you and God bless America.

"I was stoked until I saw the rest of the names on the list."
I thought the idea was you wouldn't recognise the names on the list because they need more recognition?
You get about 3-400 "visits" a day but the number of page views is only about 100 higher which possibly suggests a lot of those hits are bots or spammers or at any rate not regular readers because wouldn't you need at least 4-5 page views a day just to keep up?

I figure I have about thirty regular readers. Fifteen of those are spambots with whom I've developed close relationships.

I will debate you any time for this great position of Deserving of Wider Recognition. I'll be the one that looks like he has a battery pack with a wire up to his ear.

And I'll be the one to your right droning on indecipherably.

Congratz.

Oh, wait. Make that 31, eRobin. Congrats and I hope you win.
Oh, and I never did answer what life changing effect your blog has had on me. Answer: the Prince Spaghetti Day posts were the final straw that converted me to Pastafarianism.

Hey congratulations, eRobin! And guess what... ahem... scroll down to the "N"s.

Dr. Laniac: The Flying Spaghetti Monster Works in Mysterious Ways. May the noodly appendages be preserved.
Thomas: I know! Congrats. You can't swing a cat on that list without hitting three good blogs. The only mistake I noticed was the ommission of Paperwight.

Congratulations! My vote will be for you. Well-deserved.

I'll be the one standing outside with Michael Moore demanding admission to the debate.
