Even if you haven't made the time to listen/watch any of Winter Soldier yet, send them a few bucks to cover the costs of the event. Archives are going to be made available later. I guarantee that when you listen to them, you won't be able to keep your money in your wallet. One of the speakers on the Cost of War panel is a former information collector - she listened to bugged conversations - who describes how Americans are no longer protected from eavesdropping. You don't want to miss her testimony. You can watch one of the first panels from Friday, Rules of Engagement Pt. 1, now.
This is a first class, professional effort all the way and it didn't come cheap - literally or figuratively. IVAW is working to end the occupation of Iraq. Help them get that done.
Plus, the corporate media has shut Winter Soldier out. Donating to IVAW is as good as telling corporate media to go to hell. That's certainly worth a few bucks.
UPDATE: What I thought was a link simply to one Winter Soldier panel is really a link to two. The first is the Rules of Engagement Pt. 1, as I thought. The second is The Crisis in Veterans' Heathcare. You won't be able to turn it off. Be warned: Kevin and Joyce Lucey are panelists and they share the story of their son's suicide, which is very hard to hear and, which, of course, everyone in the country should hear every day.
And speaking of every day, remember what Miss Molly had to say about that:
We are the deciders. And every single day, every single one of us needs to step outside and take some action to help stop this war.
