This post that has parts of transcripts from actual Reagan Administration press conerences has received a lot of attention since Atrios linked to it this morning. But it deserves every link it gets. There was no excuse even twenty years ago for members of the press and a Reagan official to behave as they did. And while we're enduring the making of Saint Ronald, we should be able to remember how history really played out.
I am way past sick of all the funeral coverage business... it's not interesting, it's a casket being followed around the capital. "You'll never see this again in your life time" ..... well amen.
