Jeebus, where are we supposed to get the soldiers from?
Undaunted by the difficult war in Iraq, President George W. Bush reaffirmed his strike-first policy against terrorists and enemy nations on Thursday and said Iran may pose the biggest challenge for America.
In a 49-page national security report, the president said diplomacy is the U.S. preference in halting the spread of nuclear and other heinous weapons.
"If necessary, however, under long-standing principles of self defense, we do not rule out the use of force before attacks occur -- even if uncertainty remains as to the time and place of the enemy's attack," Bush wrote.
Of course, we don't have the soldiers. Unless Iraqis are standing up so we can stand down. Have you heard about them standing up? You know, so we can stand down?
It looks like they're going to roll out a new product without actually having a product ready to roll. My kid's video games companies do that all the time. He's always telling me that some release date or another has been pushed back three months. I think we're still waiting for the next version of Starcraft to show up. But when it does, it's going to be the most awesome game ever!
The contempt in which these people hold the American public will never cease to amaze me but it pales in comparison to my amazement at the fact that Americans do everything we can to earn that contempt. We should be in the fucking streets. We should be occupying the National Mall and every open space between there and San Diego.
But there's always something good on tv. Like last night John Bolton was on Nightline talking about the threat from Iran. "9/11 with nuclear weapons," he said. Maybe Europe, I'm sorry, maybe Old Europe is getting cut in on the action and is actually on board this time and these assholes will finally get the world war they've been jonesing for. You'd have to be a traitor to oppose a draft in the face of WWWIV.
You're not a traitor, are you?
