I've got to get me some sunglasses. I think my interactions with my friends and family would be much more effective if I could get that Caruso mojo working.
Kid: I did my homework. I have time to play video games.
Me: Or maybe ... (slip on sunglasses) ... you have time to play the violin.
It depends... on what you mean by "effective".

Thats... (slips on sunglasses) ...what I was going to say.

It looks like you guys ... (slips on sunglasses)... won't get fooled again.

My lawsy but that man is a bad actor. I couldn't watch even a third of that montage. I got the creeps, and not in a good way. I'd rather watch David Hasselhoff anytime. I'd rather be tied to a chair and forced to watch a Dukes of Hazard marathon. I'd rather be condemned to the hell of My Mother, The Car for eternity.
I'll never wear sunglasses again.

Yes, Mick ... (slips on sunglasses) ... a CSI montage can have that affect on you.

Ok, people... (slips on sunglasses) ... three Roger Daltrey screams was enough!

Brilliant! The opening scene's pithy saying is the only reason my wife makes me watch that show. Now I can just show her this video and she'll be all Caruso-ed out.

For anyone who's lived in a household with a violin-practicing child, (removes sunglasses) child not practicing is also a bonus.

You'll like this story: A friend and I took a road trip to Philly and along the way decided to stamp out pretention where ever we found it.
We saw this guy Caruso being interviewed on TV, and he coined my favorite pretentious phrase: "I really jive in that genre".
So for years we went around dropping it into conversation just to see the look on people's faces.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that it turned out he's as pretentious in real life as he is in reel life, but it doesn't always follow.
